Job Description:

This Medical Ortho MS RN position is a 13-week travel assignment in a busy hospital setting. You'll work 12-hour daytime shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, providing care for a mix of medical and surgical patients, with a focus on conditions like CHF, COPD, UTI, wounds, and general surgeries. The role involves IV therapy, antibiotic administration, wound management, and heparin infusions. The environment offers the chance to collaborate with experienced nurses on a unit that recently saw new leadership and promotes teamwork. Floating within the hospital is required, including to nearby campuses, with a small notice period for cross-campus shifts. Expect to precept and work closely with charge nurses, all while adhering to unit protocols and documentation standards, particularly EPIC charting. The contract guarantees 36 hours weekly, with options for up to 48 hours, and includes weekend and holiday rotations.
