Job Description:

This contract position for a Registered Nurse (RN) is centered around endoscopy procedures in an outpatient setting. You will be responsible for preparing patients for colonoscopy and upper endoscopy, including procedures such as patient assessment, IV start, and education. During procedures, you'll monitor and sedate patients, working closely with physicians and anesthesia providers, and then care for them during recovery phases. The role offers rotations through various phases of patient care and delegation of tasks to unlicensed personnel, ensuring smooth workflow and top-quality patient experiences. Expect to be part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment that values precise documentation and patient safety. The schedule involves nine-hour day shifts with flexible start times typically between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM, and the contract lasts for 13 weeks.
