Job Description:

Join a renowned Level I Trauma Center in Portland, Oregon, as a Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse within the Cardiac Intensive Medical Care unit. This 13-week contract offers a unique opportunity to work scheduled 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and provide vital support in managing complex cardiac conditions. You will focus on patients with ACS, NSTEMI, heart failure, arrhythmias, and post-surgical recovery, utilizing advanced telemetry equipment and engaging in procedures like pacemaker management and post-cath care. This role demands a minimum of 2 years of cardiac telemetry experience and relevant certifications such as BLS and ACLS. Expect to be involved in high-acuity patient care, with the flexibility to float within the scope of acute care and IMC units, ensuring seamless coverage for the facility. Weekend shifts are required four times a month, and the position welcomes first-time travelers who meet the experience criteria.
