Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you at a facility resembling an ICU environment but classified as an advanced PCU, located in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves working 12-hour day shifts, caring for post-CABG cardiac surgery patients with chest tubes, LVADs, and other advanced cardiac therapies. Staffing ratios typically range from 1:4 to 1:5, and the unit operates with high acuity procedures. You will be responsible for rhythm identification tests, ensuring adherence to ACLS protocols, and demonstrating expertise in cardiovascular patient monitoring and post-operative management. The setting emphasizes teamwork in a fast-paced, specialized cardiac care unit where precise and confident clinical skills are essential.
