Job Description:

This MICU Registered Nurse role involves caring for adult patients with complex conditions such as sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, and respiratory failure. The position offers a memorable night shift experience, where you'll work four 12-hour overnight shifts per week, primarily from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. You'll be responsible for managing a patient load of typically two to one, with occasional one-to-one assignments based on patient acuity. The assignment is in a vibrant city known for its cultural diversity and history, providing an engaging backdrop for your professional journey. Charting will be completed in EPIC, and floating within the skillset is required to adapt to patient needs as they evolve. This role offers a chance to work in a high-acuity environment with state-of-the-art protocols, contributing to patient recovery during critical moments, all while experiencing the unique rhythm of night shift healthcare. To succeed, you'll need to hold a current NY license in hand and be comfortable working with advanced interventions like CRRT, ECMO, Impella, and IABP.
