Job Description:

Step into a fast-paced emergency room environment where you will be the frontline RN during overnight shifts. This contract position requires an experienced ER nurse ready to handle a diverse adult and geriatric patient population, managing approximately 26 patient visits per day. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715, with some flexibility to shift slightly earlier as needed. The role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a Level 1 Trauma Center renowned for its cardiac care, including primary stroke treatment with TPA. Your responsibilities will include responding to moderate sedation, chest tubes, intubations, central lines, defibrillation/pacing, and other high-acuity procedures. This assignment is ideal for nurses with at least two years of ER experience, comfortable with a patient ratio of 1:4, and familiar with community hospital protocols. Prepare to work with a team dedicated to continued excellence in trauma and cardiac care, while experiencing the rewarding challenge of managing complex emergencies during overnight hours.
