Job Description:

Join a renowned short-term acute care facility as a step-down registered nurse, specializing in vascular surgical services. This role involves caring for patients recovering from complex procedures such as abdominal and thoracic aortic repairs, carotid surgeries, peripheral vascular interventions, and hemodialysis access management. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient progress, managing post-operative care, and ensuring smooth transitions during recovery phases. The unique nature of this assignment provides an opportunity to delve into highly specialized surgical cases within a dynamic, magnet-designated teaching hospital that is also a Level I Trauma Center. The shift is scheduled during night hours, working three 12-hour shifts per week, offering an engaging schedule that balances work and personal time.
