Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week travel contract in Wausau, Wisconsin, working night shifts in a busy Labor and Delivery unit. As a specialized OB RN, you'll experience the rhythm of 12-hour nights (7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.) in a setting that sees approximately 112 deliveries each month. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to be part of a team managing a wide variety of obstetric cases in a 11-bed L&D unit, with the chance to collaborate closely with postpartum colleagues in an 8-bed postpartum unit. You'll use EPIC EMR, handling labor and delivery responsibilities that require at least 2 years of L&D experience and current WI RN licensure. The assignment includes every third weekend and alternate holiday rotations, with the flexibility of being on call during low census periods—additional call-back pay applies when called in. Expect a focus on patient safety and efficient labor management, with a touch of the unpredictable—keeping your skills sharp and your job rewarding. This role is ideal for an experienced OB RN looking for a fast-paced, engaging assignment outside a 50-mile radius of Wausau.
