Job Description:

Join our neuro-med surg dedicated team on a 12-hour night shift assignment in Peoria, Illinois. As a registered nurse on this unit, you'll be working with a variety of neurological cases, including stroke, spine surgery, seizure management, and brain tumors. Your expertise in trauma and previous travel experience will be essential as you support patients on a unit that values independence and teamwork. This role offers a unique chance to refine your neuro skills while working with advanced telemetry and ventilator equipment, all within a supportive environment that includes dedicated charge nurses and house supervisors 24/7. Expect to manage titratable drips like Heparin, troubleshoot high-flow oxygen devices for COVID-19 patients, and collaborate with nurse aides to ensure quality care. The assignment also features a two-day orientation to familiarize you with protocols and technology, ensuring you're confident from day one.
