Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse in a dedicated neuro stepdown and intermediate medical unit that specializes in neurological and medical patient populations. This assignment offers the opportunity to work with a variety of complex cases, including post-surgical neurosurgical patients, stroke (CVA), aneurysm repairs, intracranial bleeds, and seizure disorders. You will be responsible for titrating IV infusions such as vasopressors including LEVO, managing telemetry, interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, and performing advanced medical tasks like feeding tube care and bladder irrigation. The role demands a team-oriented approach focused on collaboration with multidisciplinary staff while adhering strictly to hospital policies, especially regarding call-offs. This setting provides a dynamic environment where your expertise in neuro and cardiac protocols will be essential for patient safety and care outcomes.
