Job Description:

This role supports the unit as it prepares for the Epic go-live, requiring Cerner and Epic EMR experience. The position involves working in an emergency department environment where you'll be responsible for quickly assessing patient needs, prioritizing care, and coordinating across disciplines. A key requirement is self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance and passing a basic dysrhythmia test during the first week to ensure proficiency in recognizing and responding to cardiac rhythms. While you won't be part of a regular call rotation, occasional on-call shifts may occur, with a one-hour response expectation. This assignment offers a blend of fast-paced assessment and critical thinking in a supportive hospital setting.
