Job Description:

Join us for an engaging Pediatric Stepdown RN contract in Columbus, Ohio, where you'll provide specialized care for young patients with complex cardiac conditions. This role involves managing patients with cardiac defects, both medical and surgical, including care for trachs, vents, high flow nasal cannula, post-op caths, and post-op after CTICU, as well as patients undergoing heart and lung transplants. You will be working predominantly night shifts — 4x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM — offering a chance to experience the quieter, more focused hours of pediatric cardiac recovery. This assignment is perfect for an experienced nurse ready to make a meaningful impact in a dedicated stepdown setting, with supervision references required to showcase your past successes in similar roles. Expect to stay for approximately 13 weeks, earning a weekly gross pay of around $2,892.60, while enjoying the unique rhythm of night shifts that allow a different perspective on pediatric cardiac care.
