Job Description:

This travel assignment is with a Medical Surgical Oncology unit that offers a unique blend of caring for diverse high-acuity patients, including those with solid tumors and blood cancers. As a registered nurse on this unit, you will manage complex patient needs, assist with chemotherapy education (training available), and ensure infection prevention protocols are followed. The shift is 12-hour nights, providing a focused and quieter environment for patient care. The unit has a mix of patients, including rare pediatric cases unlikely to be assigned to travelers, allowing you to focus on adult oncology care in a supportive setting. The team values professional development, and there are opportunities for additional training to enhance your skills in oncology procedures.
