Job Description:

Join us for an engaging travel opportunity as an Operating Room Registered Nurse at a Level I Trauma Teaching Hospital in Albuquerque. This role involves circulating in the OR with a focus on Level 1 trauma cases and circulating experience. Expect to work 4 ten-hour days on the day shift, with responsibilities including maintaining the sterile field, preparing ORs for surgical procedures, and supporting surgical teams during complex cases. This assignment offers a chance to be part of a busy surgical department while enjoying the vibrant culture of Albuquerque, with weekends off and optional call shifts that allow you to experience the city’s unique blend of southwestern charm and outdoor adventure.

Job Specifics:

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Shift: 10-hour days (07:00 - 17:30)
Duration: 13 weeks (with a minimum of 36 hours per week, guaranteed), flexibility for occasional call shifts (24-36 hours/month). The assignment requires at least 3 years of OR circulating experience, trauma level 1 experience, and BCLS certification. RTO requests greater than 7 days need approval. Pending license acceptance. No local candidates within 100 miles. Open to first-time travelers with the required experience. COVID vaccination is required, with exemptions accepted upon completion of relevant forms. This contract mandates no float within scope and no block scheduling requests.
