Job Description:

This travel contract requires a registered nurse skilled in general medical-surgical care, comfortable with a diverse patient population presenting various diagnoses. You will be working in a setting that handles complex conditions such as COPD, diabetes, CHF, infections, neurological issues, and mental health disorders. The role involves performing patient assessments, care planning, utilizing electronic health records, managing IV therapy, wound care, and operating equipment like infusion pumps and telemetry monitors. Expect to handle procedures such as colonoscopies, thoracentesis, biopsies, and minor surgeries. The position offers a balanced mix of hands-on care and interdisciplinary communication, with opportunities to hone your skills in a fast-paced, yet supportive environment.
