Job Description:

Join our team as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN on a 13-week contract, working 12-hour day shifts. This role places you in a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center within a teaching hospital environment, where you'll be caring for critically ill newborns with complex conditions such as respiratory distress, congenital heart defects, and neurological challenges. Expectations include managing high-acuity cases in a fast-paced setting, utilizing advanced technology like EPIC electronic health records and ventilator management. We are seeking experienced NICU RNs with at least 2 years of solid Level 3 or 4 NICU experience who are comfortable with invasive lines, ventilator care, and critical monitoring. The unit operates with a team of dedicated professionals, including intensivists, resource nurses, and respiratory therapists, all committed to excellent patient outcomes. This assignment offers a chance to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on specialized newborn care, all while experiencing a vibrant cityscape along with opportunities to explore nearby day trip destinations.
