Job Description:

This contract position involves performing advanced nursing functions within the cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) and main operating rooms. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and executing patient care activities during 10-hour shifts that provide an in-depth experience in perioperative nursing. The role requires independent decision-making, health education, and collaboration with surgical teams to support patient recovery and safety. Notably, you might find yourself floating between departments and participating in call shifts, adding a touch of unpredictability to an already engaging schedule. This assignment offers a behind-the-scenes look at surgical procedures, allowing you to apply your expertise in a focused, high-stakes environment.
