Job Description:

This intensive care unit travel assignment in Prescott Valley, AZ offers an opportunity to work closely with a specialized multi-care team within a single unit covering ICU, PCU, and MST. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for managing patients with conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, post-op complications, and more. Your role involves titrating drips like sedation, vasopressors, and insulin, while utilizing advanced equipment including vents, BiPAP, and monitors. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, providing a chance to hone your skills in a focused environment that requires at least two years of ICU experience. The position emphasizes primary care for patients across various acuities and demands a thorough understanding of cardiac monitoring, EKG interpretation, and complex patient management. Unique to this assignment is the need for flexibility to float between units and campuses, supporting a broad spectrum of critical care needs while maintaining proficiency across multiple patient populations.
