Job Description:

Join a specialized team providing advanced critical care in the Medical ICU at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. This 13-week travel assignment offers the opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts, caring for COVID-19 patients with a focus on ventilator management, intubations, and other critical procedures. You'll utilize cutting-edge equipment like ventilators, intravenous pumps, and ventriculostomy drains, all while using hospital technology including iMobile phones. The role emphasizes autonomous critical care with a collaborative team of highly experienced nurses and support staff. This isn't your typical ICU—it's a facility recognized for excellence, striving for Magnet status and operational with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based care.
