Job Description:

This travel surgical technologist role places you in the heart of Wausau, where you'll assist in setting up operative suites for cardiothoracic surgeries. You'll be responsible for preparing case carts to ensure all supplies are ready, scrubbing in for a variety of procedures, and efficiently turnover rooms between cases. Expect to work alongside a team of skilled surgeons, including approximately three cardiothoracic specialists performing 50 to 60 cases monthly. This assignment offers the dynamic experience of working in a fast-paced OR environment with opportunities to handle thoracic robotic cases, all while maintaining flexibility to adapt to various tasks during downtime. The role emphasizes precision, resilience, and a proactive attitude, making it ideal for those who thrive in a busy surgical setting and enjoy a bit of variety in their daily routine.
