Job Description:

Join IU Health as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse on a night shift assignment in Indianapolis. This contract offers an engaging opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts, providing a chance to experience the vibrant city while delivering essential nursing skills in a busy med/surg and neuro/stroke unit. You'll be flexible with weekend requirements, including working approximately half of your weekends, and may have the opportunity to precept or shadow students at a teaching facility. Charge nurse responsibilities may be included with training. This assignment is perfect for nurses comfortable managing dysrhythmias, starting IVs, and floating across various care levels, including ICU, PCU, and Med-Surg. Travelers must have an Indiana or Compact license ready to go and be willing to adapt to different unit needs—there’s a little bit of everything to keep your skills sharp.
