Job Description:

This step-down registered nurse contract at IU Health offers a chance to work in a high-acuity PCU setting with almost ICU-level care, including multiple cardiac drips and stable vents. The shift is a 12-hour night (19:00 - 07:30), with an expected weekly commitment of 36 hours over a 13-week period. You'll be responsible for titrating cardiac medications, starting IVs, interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, and providing charge nurse coverage when needed. The role involves floating to various levels of care across Medical PCU, Med-Surg, and other units, with comprehensive resources provided.
