Job Description:

This contract opportunity is perfect for registered nurses eager to step into a role that combines clinical expertise with hands-on patient interaction. You will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to deliver direct care during 12-hour night shifts, often involving weekend work and on-call duties. The setting requires flexibility to float between departments and local locations within a 20-mile radius, ensuring patient needs are always met efficiently. A key part of this role is passing an onsite Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test; candidates must successfully pass to begin, and only have one chance to re-test if needed. Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, administering medications, and coordinating discharge plans, all while collaborating with the healthcare team and family members to ensure safe and effective treatment. Supervisory duties involve guiding LPNs and non-licensed personnel, along with completing necessary competency assessments.
