Job Description:

Join a dedicated team on a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts in Waukesha, WI. This role is perfect for experienced cardiology nurses who thrive in a busy but rewarding environment. You’ll be providing specialized care on an intermediate care unit, managing patients with heart failure, post-surgical cardiac patients, arrhythmias, and other complex cardiac conditions. The unit cares for a diverse patient population, including those undergoing heart surgeries and procedures like TAVRs and ablations. Expect to interpret cardiac rhythms, monitor open heart surgical patients, and respond swiftly to emergencies while maintaining a resilient and adaptable approach. Float coverage may include nearby facilities, so flexibility is appreciated. This role offers a steady schedule of 36 hours weekly with additional opportunities to refine your cardiac care expertise in a supportive setting.
