Job Description:

Join a busy surgery unit at the main West Campus, where you'll scrub in on 20-30 cases daily across a variety of specialties including total joints, general surgery, spine, uro, and cardiovascular procedures for the Open Heart team. This role offers a hands-on experience in the operating room, working alongside experienced charge nurses, specialty leads, and scrub techs. You'll be actively involved in OR and CVOR procedures, utilizing Cerner EMR, and adapting to shifts from early mornings to evening hours. Expect a dynamic environment where your expertise keeps the operating room running smoothly. The team values independence but also provides dedicated support, with available resources to assist as needed. This assignment offers a chance to refine your surgical skills while working in a collaborative setting that emphasizes patient safety and procedural excellence.
