Job Description:

Join our team as an RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in the vibrant city of Fairfax, Virginia! This unique travel contract offers a fantastic opportunity to work night shifts in a 36-bed telemetry unit that cares for patients experiencing a variety of conditions including CHF, stroke, and cardiac dysrhythmias. With a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4, you will play a vital role in delivering quality care.

Your commitment includes 12-hour night shifts, with the flexibility to accommodate your preferred schedule whenever possible. Essential certifications required are BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, along with at least a year of experience in PCU and telemetry. As a traveler in this role, you’ll have the opportunity to float to medical, surgical, and observation units, depending on the fluctuations in patient census, while enjoying a supportive team environment featuring 5 techs, a resource RN, and a Charge RN.
