Job Description:

Join our team as a Step Down Registered Nurse in St. Louis, Missouri! This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work nightly shifts in a fast-paced Step Down Unit, where you'll provide specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care. You'll find yourself part of an energetic team, where each night brings the challenge of monitoring responses to treatment and ensuring patient comfort and safety. With a ratio of 1 nurse to 4 patients, you will have the chance to form professional connections, all while performing critical tasks such as titration of vasopressors, managing sedation medications, and monitoring patients on insulin drips and external pacemakers. The dynamic nature of this role means you can expect engaging nights filled with purpose and rewarding experiences.
