Job Description:

Join us for an exhilarating journey as a Respiratory Therapist where you will take on a floating role across various departments including ER, ICU, Med/Surg, and PACU at a hospital in Gloucester, Virginia. This contract offers a unique opportunity for those with a minimum of 2 years of experience who are not only skilled but also thrive on independence—after all, you’ll be the superhero responsible for all respiratory care needs during your 12-hour night shifts!

Prepare to manage 1 to 3 ventilators, 1 to 2 BiPAPs or Hi-Flow devices, and assist with floor treatments as you navigate through various clinical settings. Your skills will be vital, and your clinical expertise will shine as you respond to urgent respiratory needs while enjoying the camaraderie of working alongside a nursing supervisor for support. Whether you’re enabling patients to breathe easier or contributing to rapid responses and code blues, your role will be pivotal in ensuring a positive patient experience.
