In this role, you'll be working primarily in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), addressing a variety of respiratory issues in a high-acuity population. Your 12-hour night shifts will empower you to support a 1:4 patient-to-therapist ratio, allowing for focused and impactful care. There’s even a possibility to fill in on day shifts if needed!

As an RRT, you'll utilize advanced equipment like the Servo U and V60 while collaborating with a skilled interdisciplinary team. Successful candidates will bring at least four years of experience along with certifications in ACLS, BCLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, and RRT. While local candidates are not accepted, we embrace the skillful workforce from across the country who are ready to make a difference. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining documentation in Cerner as you rise to meet the dynamic challenges presented in the acute care setting.

In addition to treating patients, you will also have the chance to float to various areas, including CCU, Flex Unit, SDU, PEDS, and PCU, enhancing your expertise while enjoying the beauty of Alaska.
