Job Description:

Join us in Somerville, New Jersey, for a unique travel healthcare opportunity as a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse Manager. In this role, you will primarily work in the Emergency Department Crisis Center (EDCC), where you'll provide essential support and intervention to individuals in need of emergency psychiatric evaluations. Your compassionate approach and expertise in behavioral health will be crucial as you navigate the complexities of both voluntary and involuntary admissions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for adult and geriatric patients.

This position is set for 12-hour night shifts, allowing you to engage in meaningful work while enjoying the thrill of new adventures during your off-hours. You will also have the chance to float between different units, including EDCC, 5W, and EDU, as needed. Each shift promises to be an engaging experience, challenging your skills in verbal de-escalation and crisis intervention while contributing significantly to the mental health community.

As a travel nurse, your week will consist of 36 hours of on-the-floor experience, providing you the chance to shine in your role while taking in the local charm of New Jersey.
