Job Description:

Join our vibrant team in the heart of Austin, Texas, for an exciting contract role as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). In this unique position, you will work the night shift from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, tending to patients recovering from surgery in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where your expertise is invaluable. You’ll be part of a dedicated team, collaborating with 7-8 nurses per shift, to ensure patients receive the best possible care following a variety of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, neuro, and bariatric surgeries. While you may be tired of the nighttime routine, you might just discover that the PACU under the stars offers a special camaraderie among your fellow night owls.

This contract runs for 13 weeks, giving you ample time to make a positive impact while also experiencing the energetic culture of Austin. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in inpatient PACU nursing, ready to tackle the challenges of recovery in a high-volume setting.
