Job Description:

Join our team as a travel healthcare professional in Wheeling, West Virginia! This unique opportunity allows you to immerse yourself in intermediate care settings, where you'll engage with diverse patient needs as part of the IMU - Intermediate Care Unit. Operating within a 30-bed facility equipped with both private and semi-private rooms, you will work alongside dedicated peers and seasoned charge nurses. Expect a lively atmosphere, especially during shift transitions, where you can share stories from various assignments.

Your role will involve supporting patients with a variety of conditions, including chest pain, CHF, and arrhythmias. With a 1:5 (or up to 1:6) patient ratio, you will have the opportunity to utilize your acute care skills while being equipped with respiratory support managed by RTs and advanced monitoring technology. The unit thrives on a collaborative team spirit, and you may also have the chance to interact with an in-house IV team and pharmacy, ensuring that you have all the resources necessary at your fingertips as you tackle shifts.
