As a vital part of our specialty team, you will work 12-hour shifts during night hours, playing a key role in providing care to both expecting mothers and their newborns. With a strong emphasis on teamwork, you’ll navigate the fast-paced environment of Bakersfield Memorial Hospital, where you’ll comfortably handle two patients at a time, adhering to ACOG guidelines.

This assignment stands out not only for its engaging challenges but also for the unique patient mix, including high-risk deliveries and multiple births. You’ll be supported by OB techs who assist during C-sections and with baby care. Your days will involve using the CERNER documentation system (preferred) and ensuring accurate charting as part of the collaborative care plan.
