Job Description:

Join our dynamic team in Grass Valley, California, where your expertise as a registered nurse will shine in the Family Birthing Center. In this role, you'll be working in a modern facility with a focus on labor and delivery, where your skills will directly contribute to bringing new life into the world. Expect to engage in 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, collaborating with a dedicated medical team. Your ability to handle emergencies and work independently will be put to good use, particularly during nighttime hours when resources may be limited.

With a patient ratio of 1:2 in labor and delivery and 1:4 for mother-baby couplets, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with families during this crucial time. The position offers a 13-week contract, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the experience while also enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Grass Valley. Additionally, be prepared to work two out of three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s. Your commitment will be acknowledged, and while holiday time off can be requested, it's not guaranteed.

As part of your orientation, you’ll spend 2-3 days on the floor with a preceptor, ensuring you feel confident and supported as you transition into this contract role.
