Job Description:

Join our team as a critical care RN in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and be a vital part of a dynamic healthcare setting! In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing ventilated patients, while also initiating and titrating IV drips, including vasopressors, sedation, and paralytics. Your expertise will shine as you assist with intubations and line placements, primarily focusing on patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, respiratory failure, and myocardial infarctions.

Our unit is a mixed acuity environment, providing care to both ICU and progressive care patients, with a majority being progressive care. As you work closely with your team, you will enjoy a supportive atmosphere where collaboration is key, ensuring you’re never alone in your duties. Expect to encounter various equipment and technology, including Philips heart monitors and Epic EMR, enhancing your ability to deliver top-tier care.

Furthermore, you’ll be working three 12-hour shifts a week, embracing a week day plus weekend rotation. Each shift brings a new opportunity for flexible problem-solving and growth within a high-paced setting.
