Job Description:

Join our dynamic PCU Float Pool in Alexandria, Virginia, where you’ll be the essential link between critical healthcare settings! As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to float among all PCU and Telemetry units within the facility, providing care to a diverse patient population experiencing various medical conditions. Your expertise will be invaluable as you work with patients facing diagnoses such as strokes, chest pain, and arrhythmias.

You’ll be expertly navigating a 52-bed Neuro unit while also stepping into Medical-Surgical settings, adding a splash of versatility to your routine. With a focus on neuro assessments and cardiac drips, your skills will shine through both the challenges and triumphs of your daily tasks. Expect to engage with EPIC systems and take charge of titrating drips as part of your routine shift duties. Plus, you’ll enjoy the thrill of meeting new colleagues with each shift while providing care across multiple units.

Bring your BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications along with at least 1-2 years of experience. Rest assured, you will receive comprehensive training with three shifts devoted to orientation across different units, getting you acclimated to our vibrant team.
