Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit based in the beautiful city of Hilo, Hawaii. Here, you will embark on an exciting journey as a travel healthcare professional in a 15-bed unit that specializes in telemetry and step-down ICU care. Your primary responsibilities will include telemetry monitoring, reading telemetry strips, performing fingerstick blood sugar tests, and utilizing Meditech for charting while providing exceptional nursing care to patients. The atmosphere is vibrant, and it is a perfect blend of clinical excellence and island charm, where you can make a significant impact on patients' lives without having to scale the heights of the ICU every day.

Your shifts will follow a varied schedule, ensuring that no two days are the same. With an easy-going yet highly professional environment, you’ll have the chance to float to different acute units as needed, enhancing your skills and experience.
