Job Description:

Join our dedicated team as a Travel Healthcare Professional in Albany, Georgia, specifically within our Cardiology Stepdown Unit. If you have at least 2 years of acute care experience in a stepdown environment, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact while on the move! You'll be working with a highly skilled team, providing care for patients recovering from a variety of cardiac procedures, including CABG, stents, and chest tubes.

In this role, you’ll enjoy 12-hour night shifts, offering you the flexibility of fewer days on the job while maximizing your experience. The unit is designed for comprehensive monitoring and support, and your responsibilities will include reading strips, administering drips like Cardizem and Amiodarone, and ensuring a seamless flow of patient care during high-volume census days. With a charge nurse available around the clock, you won't have to navigate the fast-paced environment alone.

Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to broaden your skillset, including the potential to learn how to pull pacer wires if you haven’t done so before. With flexible holidays and weekend rotations, this position allows for a balanced work-life experience while immersing yourself in the vibrant community of Albany.
