Job Description:

Join a vibrant team of labor and delivery professionals in Henderson, Nevada, where the magic of new beginnings happens daily! As a travel healthcare nurse in our Level 3 high-risk facility, you will have the unique opportunity to participate in approximately 16 births each day. Your expertise in handling a variety of patient needs will be essential, whether you are managing high-risk labors, conducting vaginal exams, or supporting antepartum patients during their journey. You'll work in a unit equipped with 17 L&D beds and 2 triage beds, ensuring an environment that promotes both safety and excellence.

Night shifts are when the real excitement happens! You’ll be part of a team that provides direct support in circulating and recovering C-section patients while floating to mother-baby and other units as required. Nurses on this unit are expected to be independent and confident, ensuring they maintain the highest standards throughout their shifts. With AWHONN guidelines guiding your practice, you will effectively care for our laboring mothers with a typical ratio of 2:1 for normal cases and 1:1 for high-risk situations.
