Job Description:

Join a remarkable team in Lamar, Colorado, as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel healthcare contract! In this role, you’ll experience the unique moments of labor and delivery, providing specialized care to women during this critical time. Your nightly shifts will place you in the heart of action, from monitoring labor progress to preparing for surgeries and assisting in the delivery room. You’ll work directly with new mothers and their newborns, ensuring a supportive and caring environment throughout their journey from labor to postpartum.

You will engage in essential activities such as providing patient education, coordinating transfers, and adhering to infection control protocols, all while navigating the dynamic and sometimes unpredictable nature of labor and delivery. This position requires not just clinical skills but an understanding of the emotional aspects of childbirth, making your role vital not only to patient care but also to the comforting of families during significant life events.
