Job Description:

Join us as a Pediatric Emergency Registered Nurse in the heart of Washington, DC, where your dedicated skills will make a meaningful impact on the lives of young patients. In this role, you will be providing specialized care to infants, children, and young adults in urgent medical need. Your expertise will guide you in delivering knowledgeable clinical practice and care coordination, all while adhering to our high standards of patient care and safety.

You will be working three 12-hour night shifts each week in a bustling pediatric emergency department. The position demands strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, and you will need to demonstrate a calm and focused demeanor in high-pressure situations. This is not just a job; it’s an adventure in nurturing and supporting the youngest members of our community during their most critical moments.

To be successful, you must possess a DC RN license, have completed an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, and hold certifications in TNCC, NIHSS, BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Recent experience in pediatrics is required, along with a commitment to fostering long-term relationships that can thrive for at least two years.
