Job Description:

Join a vibrant team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery in the beautiful city of Auburn, Washington. In this role, you will take center stage, guiding expectant mothers through the exhilarating journey of childbirth. With 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift, you will immerse yourself in all facets of labor and delivery, including conducting cervical exams, managing antepartum and labor processes, as well as administering amnio infusions and epidurals. Additionally, your mastery of fetal monitoring and IV management will be pivotal in ensuring the well-being of your patients.

As you embrace this exciting challenge, you will also provide comprehensive postpartum care, preparing both mom and baby for a smooth transition home. Experience with C-section circulation and hands-on baby catching will enhance your skill set while fostering a family-centered atmosphere for your patients. A familiarity with breastfeeding practices is highly advantageous as you support new families on their journeys.

With an average case load of a 20-bed unit including labor and delivery, postpartum care, and a level II NICU, this facility places a significant emphasis on collaboration and support, making it an ideal setting for both first-time travelers and seasoned professionals alike.
