Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you’ll be positioned at the forefront of maternal healthcare, caring for a diverse group of high-risk obstetric patients. Your responsibilities will include managing antepartum and laboring patients, supporting vaginal deliveries and recoveries, coordinating c-section procedures, and ensuring seamless postpartum care. With a mix of clinical proficiency and critical thinking, you’ll play an essential role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for mothers and their newborns.

Expect to work 12-hour night shifts that may include every third weekend or as needed for unit coverage. Your expertise in EPIC electronic health records and familiarity with oxytocin, magnesium, and various IV medications will be invaluable as you navigate this fast-paced setting. While the summer months are particularly busy, our team prides itself on maintaining excellent ratios and fostering a collegial spirit among staff.
