Job Description:

Embark on a thrilling journey as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at a prominent facility in Durham, North Carolina. This role is perfect for nurses who thrive under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced environment where each day offers something new and exciting—just like a roller coaster, but with patients instead of screaming! Your primary focus will be caring for adult and geriatric patients, ensuring that they receive the finest critical care available.

In this position, you will work 12-hour night shifts, with a patient ratio of 1:2. You will require a solid foundation, including a minimum of two years of experience in critical care, as well as certifications in ACLS, CPI, NIHSS, and BLS. Additionally, you should hold a current North Carolina or compact nursing license. Be prepared for orienting to the unit bi-weekly and floating to adult inpatient areas as necessary, dressed in your stylish royal blue scrubs!
