Job Description:

Join our vibrant Acute Cardiac Intermediate Unit as a travel healthcare professional in Peoria, Illinois! In this role, you will bring your expertise in cardiovascular care to support patients transitioning from intensive care. Your mission will be to monitor and manage patients recovering from complex procedures like TAVRs, Ablations, and Mitral Clips. You'll play a vital role in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where every heartbeat counts—and we mean it! With a ratio of 1:3 and the possibility to float to the ICU, you will utilize your critical thinking and assessment skills to handle high-acuity scenarios with confidence.

You will be expected to interpret cardiac rhythms, titrate multiple drips, and adeptly handle ventilation equipment for our high-needs patients. Your 12-hour night shifts will require the ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple responsibilities, working alongside skilled charge nurses and a dedicated team of support staff.
