Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for a 13-week travel healthcare contract in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas. This role will immerse you in the dynamic environment of post-operative recovery, where you will closely monitor and facilitate the transition of patients from anesthesia to recovery. With a 12-hour day shift from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the city after shifts.

As part of our award-winning unit, you will care for up to two patients at a time, utilizing your critical care experience to manage pain and vitals with precision. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, conducting thorough assessments, and supporting patient education throughout the discharge process. We're looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is eager to bring their skills to a new location—think of it as your own personal healthcare adventure!
