Job Description:

As a Stepdown Neuro Registered Nurse in Omaha, Nebraska, you’ll step into a dynamic mixed acuity unit dedicated to patients with neurological conditions. This role invites you to provide specialized care in a 48-bed setting, where you'll be directly engaged with patients experiencing strokes, seizures, spinal fusions, and other neurological issues. Over the course of your 13-week contract, you'll have the chance to work either 36 or 48 hours per week on night shifts, bringing your expertise to a unit that thrives on teamwork and advanced medical care.

Prepare for an exhilarating journey as you care for up to five medical-surgical patients, float across various units when needed, and become part of a dedicated team. Your day-to-day activities involve working under ratios that promote attentive patient care while utilizing EPIC for charting. The 3x12-hour night shifts will have you supported by an array of professionals, providing both camaraderie and comprehensive care strategies.
