Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Neuro Acute care in the vibrant city of Phoenix, Arizona. In this unique role, you will bring your expertise to a fast-paced Level 1 trauma center, providing high-quality care for patients experiencing neurological conditions such as epilepsy, brain tumors, and traumatic brain injuries. This position requires a strong foundation in critical thinking and assessment skills, as you'll be responsible for monitoring shifts, recognizing subtle changes in patient status, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Expect the unexpected as you tackle challenges in a stimulating environment, supported by an IV team available around the clock. Your shifts will be 12 hours long, from 7 PM to 7 AM, allowing for immersive patient care and ample time for restorative rest between shifts. As part of your responsibilities, you will also participate in essential training, including a pass/fail SIMs Lab focusing on sterile technique for catheter insertion and dressing changes. Remember: while you'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills, maintaining the integrity of sterile fields is critical!
