Job Description:

Join our team as a Step Down Registered Nurse, where you'll find yourself in a supportive environment, taking care of patients who have transitioned from higher levels of care. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts each week, allowing for a balance of work and personal time. Each shift runs from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

In this role, you'll encounter a variety of cases, drawing upon your expertise in telemetry and cardiac monitoring. Your journey will be enriched by Epic charting, ensuring that you are not just delivering care, but also contributing to a seamless coordination of services. While you will primarily work in the step-down unit, flexibility is key as you may float to similar departments as needed, making each shift an adventure. With a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4, you will have ample opportunity to provide care while developing meaningful relationships with your patients.

We encourage individuals with a minimum of one year of step-down experience to apply, whether you're an experienced traveler or taking your first contract. Bring your BLS and NIHSS certifications, along with your SC or Compact license, and be ready for an engaging assignment in beautiful South Carolina.
