Job Description:

Join a vibrant team as a Travel Healthcare Contract Registered Nurse in Roanoke, Virginia! In this unique role, you will work in a progressive care unit (PCU) that specializes in caring for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients. Your shifts will be full of excitement and challenge as you manage the postoperative care of these patients. You’ll be part of a 24/5 bed unit, working alongside other healthcare professionals with a patient ratio of 1:5.

Your schedule will consist of three 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, providing a great opportunity to experience the nocturnal charm of the unit while enhancing your nursing skills. As a traveler, you may be asked to float to other PCUs and possibly Med-Surg units, adding variety to your experience.

This assignment is tailored for RNs with prior experience in progressive care settings, especially those familiar with the specific needs of cardiothoracic patients and the equipment used in their care. Come bring your expertise to a location that values skilled healthcare professionals!
